Jennifer H. Bouriat is a partner of the nationwide Qui Tam/False Claims Act practice group at Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP. She is also a member of the Government Enforcement, Compliance and White Collar Litigation Practice Group.
Ms. Bouriat represents corporations and individuals involved in False Claims Act investigations and litigation. Her experience includes both handling allegations related to fraud on Medicare, Medicaid, and other federally funded insurance programs, and representing government contractors receiving federal funds in other sectors.
Prior to joining Pietragallo, Ms. Bouriat was a litigation associate at a large law firm in New York City where she gained significant trial experience and represented both individuals and international corporations in internal investigations, complex litigation, and criminal proceedings.
Ms. Bouriat earned her law degree, cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School where she was a member of the Journal of Law and Policy and a Dean’s Merit Scholar. She also assisted in teaching a number of courses, including Evidence and Psychology in Criminal Law. Additionally, she interned in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and for a judge on the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Bouriat received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Wake Forest University.
